First thing I decided to let you know about my reading is the many different ways I read.
Library-
Our little town does have a library. Not a lot of books but a library. I can't always find books that I want to read but, they will order book from Interlibrary Loan. I usually have to wait a few days but they eventually do get here. And since I live in town and pay property taxes to them, it's free.
Audio Books- Like I said I live in a small town in the middle of the mid west. Audio books are a God send. I can order them from the library and I am a member of Audible.com. I listen to audio books on my mp3 player, computer or a boom box. It takes me longer to finish a audio book than reading a book, but I can listen when I'm exercising, washing dishes, doing laundry, cleaning house, traveling in the car, quilting, lots of times that I couldn't be holding a book.
E-books- I can read e-books on my computer, on some mp3 players, my ipod, and I am awaiting the delivery of a new kindle
Of course, there are always good old fashion books.
I have used swaptree.com to trade books. It's free and easy. Just list the book you have to trade and then list the books you want. You pay the postage to ship your book to your trading partner..
